Xinobi - Balsame Remixes, Pt. 2 is out now.
Chambord and Madd Rod's remixes join remixes Adam Ten & Mita Gami, and Ohxala.
They join the ranks of the previous batch of remixers, Anja Schneider, Moullinex, GPU Panic and Klin Klop whose remixes last year reinforced Balsame's original collaborative spirit whilst reminding us of just what a special group of songs they really are.
Adam Ten & Mita Gami's hypnotic remix of 'La Tormenta' is a perfect example of a modern approach to acid house with their very unique punch sound signature. Madd Rod's gives a fairytale treatment lead by noise and traditional percussion to 'Başa Bela'.
Chambord add a hypnotic and melodic take on 'Amor Cego', and Ohxala properly re-groove and speed up 'Balsame' making it more melodic and electronic without taking its original organic feel away.
