‘Minina di Céu’ is the latest single in anticipation of Moullinex’ fourth album REQUIEM FOR EMPATHY, in collaboration with Portuguese legend Sara Tavares.

‘Minina di Céu’, sung in Cape-Verdean creole, narrates the life of a little girl who wakes up one day and sets out to explore the cosmos. Her story is one of hope and curiosity, beautifully narrated by Sara Tavares’ amazing vocal work, and carried by a sumptuous blend of synths and traditional west African percussion.

Sara Tavares’ career as a singer, composer and guitarist has seen her gather worldwide acclaim. After winning Portugal’s hearts with “Chamar a Musica” when she was 16, she established herself as one of the leading voices of Cape-verdean and Portuguese musical culture, influencing an entire generation of musicians. One of those musicians is Luis Clara Gomes (Moullinex), with whom she shares a fascination with the cosmos, perfectly embodied in Minina di Céu.
