Hot on the heels of Xinobi’s recent ‘A Collection of Xinobi Dance Songs’, he has once again teamed up with Vaarwell, who appear on the aforementioned compilation with two already universally well received collaborations. The latest is ‘Fire’ with both artists once again playing to their strengths. ‘Fire’ is a mellow deep house song with a big pop sensibility, both haunting and dreamy, complemented by Margarida Falcão’s infectious vocal, which is in equal parts piercing and ethereal.

Keeping up both of their reputations of being prolific, ‘Fire’ was recorded in isolation, at their home studios during the recent worldwide quarantine period. It’s a welcome return of two musical collaborators who build on their reputation and cement a working relationship likely to endure long into the future.
